GOtv Promises More Exciting Programmes

Digital pay-TV service provider, GOtv, has assured subscribers that it will continue to dispense quality content and introduce innovations that offer the best of digital TV experience. This was disclosed at a roundtable organised for a cross-section of the media in Lagos.

Martin Mabutho, General Manager, Marketing and Sales, MultiChoice Nigeria, told journalists that GOtv received immensely positive feedback in the previous year owing to its top quality content offered to subscribers at affordable prices. He also assured that GOtv subscribers will continue to have access to top programmes.

“Top content that are not within the reach of average Nigerians, are now available on GOtv. For instance, for the first time our reality TV show, BBNaija, was aired on GOtv and it was exceedingly successful, not just in Nigeria but across Africa. GOtv subscribers will have access to live broadcast of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia as well as other FIFA tournaments on SuperSport”, he said.

Akinola Salu, General Manager, GOtv said that they looked forward to an even better year, as more channels will be launched and innovations that will wow subscribers will be introduced soon. “Expect to see the same digital quality and great content. As a way of rewarding our subscribers for their loyalty, we introduced an incentive programme in March called GOtv WOW,’ he said.

Salu reiterated that GOtv Lite, a N400 subscription package, was launched to bring more people into the digital space with 20 exciting channels. He further stated that GOtv Lite is the most affordable in the pay-TV market, offering subscribers more choices and flexible payment options at N400 monthly, N1050 quarterly and N3100 annually. “With this, we are demonstrating our leadership role in widening access to pay-Television services and support the government drive on digital migration,” he said.
